The Float 2 End Cancer

Elite Sports Therapy is putting on its 1st Annual Float 2 End Cancer!  The event is raising money in support of the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta.  Participants will float in rafts down the Bow River, starting at Bowness Park, stopping at Shouldice Park for a catered lunch, and then continuing to float toward downtown to Lazy Day Rafts at the Calgary Curling Club.

Participants may register as singles or as teams (to a maximum of 4), and will be supplied with a raft, life vests, paddles, and water guns, courtesy of Lazy Day Rafts.  Participants may also choose to use their own rafts if they wish.

The event starts at 11:00am on Sunday, August 21st.  Lunch will take place as rafts arrive at Shouldice, around 12:30pm.  The total float time will be approximately 3 hours.

Registration will be limited to 100 people, or 25 teams of 4.  The registration fee will include the raft, life vest, paddle and water gun rental, as well as the lunch. Lazy Day Rafts will be on-site to drop off and pick up the rafts, and will provide a brief tutorial on rafting safety.

Registration will commence late June.  All proceeds will go to supporting the Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta. Stay tuned!
